The role of the PTA is to raise money to help the School provide materials,
resources and facilities for the benefit of everyone who uses the School and assist in building a community of parents and teachers.
The PTA is made up of
a committee of parents and teachers and is supported by a team of volunteers who give their time to organise, or help out, at events.
All parents and carers are welcome to attend PTA meetings.
If you would like to get involved in anyway or have a great fundraising idea please get in touch.

Class Representative/s
Each year group has a Class Representative/s, they play a vital role in helping to facilitate communication and feedback between the PTA committee, the school and the parents/carers in their class. Encouraging their class to get involved in fundraising events and organising some social opportunities for their class.
As you can see, we urgently need Class Representatives for several year groups - please contact goringpta@gmail.com if you would like more information or if you can help.

Fundraising
The PTA funds the maintenance of many projects
such as the swimming pool, forest school, the repair of IT
equipment and trip subsidy.
In addition to these annual costs, the PTA has raised money for the school play equipment, the first set of laptops, the swimming pool
and many other facilities that our children enjoy.
Due to the amazing fundraising efforts of last year, we
have just confirmed we will be able to purchase new
laptops and smart boards for the school.
A massive thank you for all
your efforts!
Our fundraising targets for 2017/18 are to provide:
Minibus: the school mini bus is in desperate need of replacement.
This is a large target but the mini bus is crucial and without it children would be unable to attend activities outside of school. Estimated cost £30K.
If you would like to make a donation towards these targets please visit our fundraising page - thank you!
How You Can Help
You
can choose to join the PTA, take on a larger sub
committee role or help out
at one of the children`s end of term events.
Any help,
support, baking, donating, gifting, watching, printing or
clearing up you can do is all appreciated. You can volunteer as much or as little time as you choose: It
all helps towards our fundraising targets.
Please let us know if you work for a company willing to support registered charities, e.g. through match funding.
The more we raise, the more our children gain. This is your PTA, raising funds for the children of the school, to support their education and school life in a variety of exciting and inspiring ways.
If you would like to get involved in any way please get in touch.
