The role of the PTA is to raise money to help the School provide materials,
resources and facilities for the benefit of everyone who uses the School and assist in building a community of parents and teachers.
The PTA is made up of
a committee of parents and teachers and is supported by a team of volunteers who give their time to organise, or help out, at events. All parents and carers are welcome to attend PTA meetings.
If you would like to get involved in anyway or have a great fundraising idea please get in touch.

Money raised - How has your child benefited?
The school needs around £11,000 - £15,000 from PTA fundraising each year to cover ongoing minibus, swimming pool, Smartboard maintenance, subsidise for school trips, to provide Forest School for Reception and to fund the Christmas pantomime. Additionally this year, the PTA has funded hi- visibility vests for all classes, skipping workshops, STEAM week resources, a swimming pool cleaner, sets of books for guided reading for years 2-6 and new blinds for the hall – as well as the minibus.
We will be focusing our fundraising efforts on delivering the following for the school:
- Develop the playground area with sports markings, such as a running track, hopscotch and sports pitch lines.
- Renovate the current PTA Room to create a School Library.
- There is also scope to develop the area where the old preschool currently stands. Once the building is removed, the area can be used to create more outdoor play space for the children.
Truly exciting times are ahead!
How You Can Help
can choose to join the PTA, take on a larger sub
committee role or help out
at one of the children`s end of term events. Any help,
support, baking, donating, gifting, watching, printing or
clearing up you can do is all appreciated. You can volunteer as much or as little time as you choose: It
all helps towards our fundraising targets. Please let us know if you work for a company willing to support registered charities, e.g. through match funding.
The more we raise, the more our children gain. This is your PTA, raising funds for the children of the school, to support their education and school life in a variety of exciting and inspiring ways.
If you would like to get involved in any way please get in touch.
